Hare-Certificate
Collectors receive a certificate when purchasing an original, which guarantees its authenticity and origin. They confirm that they are making the original available on loan for the entire exhibition and are therefore patreon and part of the project. The exhibitor assumes all costs for packaging, shipping and insurance during the entire loan period.

100 years before I was born, the „1000-Hare-Stone“ was erected in honor of the hunter Prince Ferdinand zu Solms-Braunfels in 1873 at the spot where he shot the 1000th hare. The fact that Joseph Beuys planted 7000 oaks in 1982 and explained the paintings to the dead hare beforehand precedes my work. Barry Flanagan’s bronze hare in New York brought me back to it in 1994, „Hunting license made“, Tally Ho, the animal remains free.
Born on December 7, 1973 in Hamm-Westphalia, studied painting in Hamm, Portofino, Düsseldorf, New York City and Hamburg from 1989-2004, the Hamburg artist decided to paint „1000 Hasen“ in 2007.
„Tina Oelker attaches great importance to the individual gesture of her painting, in which the personal does not disappear behind an industrial production, but is elevated to an artistic principle.“
Dirk Paff
The starting signal was initially given in 2007 as an idea at the Jägermeister with fellow sagittarius in the Soest Cultural Parliament and was actually spoken out loud by Tina Oelker in late summer at her subsequent exhibition of the monthly hares in Hamburg’s Speicherstadt as a self-commitment: „I will do 1000 hares!“ On December 1, 2007, she painted the „Daily Hare # 0001“ and exactly 7 years later the # 1000.
„Tina, everyone knows that you paint the 1000 hares anyway!“ when her work was imitated and copied in 2012.

Her diploma „On Hare Hunt, the hare as a motif in art and design“ from 2004 was published as a paperback by VGM Verlag in 2008. In 2009, Tina Oelker led the hare # 0128 through Hamburg, New York, London and # 0182 through Munich. In 2014 she published „Das Leporello“, a radio play with moving images, and in 2021 her first illustrated book „Of Hares and Gods“.
